month of May as written. So voted.

Don noted that there is a problem with the touch screen at the well site. The screen is getting darker and hard to read. Art has gotten quotes from AEC for various alternatives. The cost would be between $3,000 – 4,000 to repair. It might be cheaper to replace the whole unit. It was agreed to ask Art for more information on all three alternatives so that the Trustees can direct him on what should be done. The Board agreed they could hold an emergency meeting to make this decision if that becomes necessary.

The warrant for the month was reviewed and approved in the amount of $7,776.28.

The checking account statement for the month of May was reviewed and approved by the Clerk.

VOTED: On motion of Freeman, seconded by Johnson to accept the Alder Stream proposal for
the fence repairs at the well site. So voted.

VOTED: On motion of Freeman, seconded by Johnson to purchase 10 warning signs from Maine Rural Water Association at the cost of $10 each. So voted.

Gina noted that we were recently inspected by the Department of Labor and the inspection revealed several problems that resulted in about $1,100 in fines. Gina will send a letter requesting abatement of the fines and Art will have a more complete report regarding the violations and the repairs at the next meeting.

The Chairman signed a letter that was requested by the auditor.

Gina noted that all the Consumer Confidence Reports were sent out this month. One went to each customer of the District, plus Art left copies at 5 different locations in the District. The Consumer Confidence Report Certification Form was reviewed and signed by the Chairman.

VOTED: On motion of Johnson, seconded by Freeman to adjourn the meeting at 8:30 p.m.
