Special Select Board Meeting

February 7, 2012 3:00 p.m.



1.         Call the Meeting to Order & Establish a Quorum


The meeting was called to order and quorum established by Chairman Hobart at 3:11 p.m.  Select Board members Brian Hobart, Kathy Gallant, Kathy Tome and Douglas Tourtelotte were present. Select Board member M. Theresa Turgeon was absent.  Staff present included Town Manager William Post. No members of the public were in attendance.


2.         Amendments to the Agenda – None


3.         Approve Consent Calendar

            A.  Warrants & Financial Reports:

                  1.   Treasurer’s Warrant #46 for $67,781.37


Select Board member Tourtelotte asked about the invoice for salt. The Manager stated that the cost per ton is approximately $55.00, so one load would amount to an invoice of approximately $1,700.00.


Select Board member Tome asked about the invoices to Richard Plummer & Sons. The Manager stated that the invoices are monthly. She also asked about the invoice for Morrison’s and the Manager stated that the invoice was for the engine rebuild for the Public Works truck.


On motion of Tourtelotte/Tome, the Board voted 4 – 0 to approve the Consent Calendar as presented.

            The meeting adjourned at 3:15 p.m.
