Judith Gray - Bio

Years ago I worked as a telephone operator, teacher, interviewer, employment counselor, job developer, manager, and bookkeeper. Twenty years into retirement I enjoy playing bridge, volunteering at The Gathering Place, reading, writing, and the company of friends.

I grew up and went to school in New York State, eventually married a Jersey trooper and lived in Jersey until Bill retired. We moved to Bowdoinham in the early seventies, bought a house a half a mile up the Ridge Road, the “Noble house” if you're an original settler. I'm still there, with great neighbors, a bossy black cat, some old, unproductive chickens, and some spring teenagers who I hope will start laying. Two of my three “kids” and two of my three grandchildren live in Bowdoinham.
