Masonic Scholarship Award
The Masonic Lodge in Bowdoinham awarded two $1,000 Scholarships in May 2007. The first went to David Stratton of Bowdoinham who is attending the University of Southern Maine at Gorham, Maine, the second went to Rianna Sidelinger of Richmond who is attending the New England School of Communications at Bangor, Maine.
The Masonic Lodge in Bowdoinham will again be awarding two $1,000 Scholarships in May 2008. One will go to a student who lives in Bowdoin/Bowdoinham. The other will go to a student in Richmond. These scholarships are for high school students pursuing advanced education beyond grade 12, have good moral character, have a financial need, and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
