2012 Land Use Project
The Bowdoinham Land Use Ordinances are getting a face lift. The Select Board recently created a 2012 Land Use Project Committee, comprised of the Planning Board members and other appointees including Brian Smith, Bob Bremm and Brant Miller. The Committee is meeting monthly, on the second Tuesday of the month, to work on revising, updating and evaluating the Land Use Ordinances of the Town to align them with the adopted Comprehensive Plan. In the year 2012 Bowdoinham will have its 250th birthday. It is the hope of the committee that the newly
revised ordinances will have been in place for a few years by this time.
Please take some time to read through the focus of the full committee and its subcommittees and if you are interested in joining any of the subcommittees please step forward. We encourage all Bowdoinham residents and land owners to think about the future of our town and the path that will be taken. The meetings are open to the public and we encourage the citizens of Bowdoinham to attend and participate. If you would like more information or would like to join one of the subcommittees, please contact Nicole at the Town Office by calling 666-5531 or email NBriand@Bowdoinham.com . Please
come and help shape our community.
