Cemetery Clean-up Day

On April 14th, Bowdoinham residents, friends and family took to he woods, back roads and over grown fields to take back a piece of history.  The results, over 85 people waited with great patience to sign in and be given directions to the cemetery they would clean.  Committee members, their families, friends, our own Selectboard, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and individuals cleared brush, cleaned stones that had fallen, built and painted fences, built trails and recorded cemeteries.  With great enthusiasm, thirty-five cemeteries were taken back.

Thank you for your great work!
