Important Changes in Burn Permits: For weekend burning, Burn permits will be issued at the Fire Station on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:30-8:30 am Burn permits will be issued during the week at the town office during regular business hours for burning after 5:00 pm unless it is raining. Burn permits may also be purchased online at the Maine Forest Service website for $7 at www.maine.gov/burnpermit
