This year will be the 2nd Annual Holiday Festival.


Holiday Tree Lighting

Friday, December 6th, 6pm

at Bowdoinham Town Hall

Join the community in singing holiday carols as the holiday tree is lit.


Bowdoinham Guild of Artisans Sale

Friday, December 6th, 6-8pm

Saturday, December 7th, 10am-3pm

at Bowdoinham Town Hall

Bowdoinham Artisans will be selling a variety of high quality goods.


Christmas Open House

Friday, December 6th, 3-8pm

Saturday, December 7th, 9am-4pm

at 312 Millay Road

The Christmas Open House will be full of a variety of crafts from Maine Artisans.


Kid’s Holiday Storytime

Saturday, December 7th, 10am-12pm

at Bowdoinham Public Library

Let the kids enjoy hearing some holiday stories while you visit the Guild of Artisans and Woodworkers Showcase.


Holiday Craft Fair

Saturday, December 7th, 10am-2pm

at Bowdoinham Community School

There will be lots happening so come join the fun with:

• Over 40 Crafters

• Art Activities for Kids - Make-a-Present with Merrymeeting Arts Center

• Pictures with Santa

• Bake Sale and Cafe

• Holiday Village Display

Pony Parade

Saturday, December 7th, 11am-1pm

The ponies will travel around the village spreading their holiday joy.


Cookie Decorating

Saturday, December 7th, 1-3pm

at The Long Branch General Store

Come decorate cookies with us.


Horse Wagon Rides

Saturday, December 7th, 10am-3pm

Rides will be available between the Community School, Town Hall, Main Street and Mailly Waterfront Park. Tips are appreciated.


Polar Bear Dip

Saturday, December 7th, 3pm

at Mailly Waterfront Park

Come see the dippers take the plunge in the Cathance River and enjoy some hot chocolate.  


Childhood Past Display

Saturday, December 7th, 10am-4pm

at Jellerson School, 2 Centers Point Road

Come visit the school room furnished as in 1910. Bowdoinham Historical Society's extensive collection of school and antique children’s books will be on display. And you will want to step next door into the Merrymeeting Bay Museum, which will be filled with children’s clothes and toys and games from times long past


Dance Party

Saturday, December 7th, 7:00-10:30pm

at Cathance Landing (9 Main St)
