: The Maine Forest Service is notifying towns in the area that they will be performing a prescribed burn on Swan Island in the Kennebec River today. It is expected to begin at 11 A. M. and last until approx. 4 P. M.

: Both Mailly Waterfront Park and the new Hand-Carry Boat Launch/Park area will be closed from 12pm to 7pm on Wednesday, October 2nd. This closure will be for hosting a Youth Cross Country Running meet on the Cathance Meadows trails with Bowdoinham runners competing against five other local schools! Boat launches and parking areas for both parks will be inaccessible during this time.

: 2025 Real Estate and Personal property tax bills to be mailed out Monday, September 30, 2024. If you have not received your bill by mid-October, please contact the Town Office.The payment for the first half is due by November 1, 2024. Mark your calendars to pay the second half by May 1, 2025. : The Town of Bowdoinham is currently seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Public Works Driver/Operator. This position is responsible for snow removal and sanding/salting operations, road, sidewalk and drainage construction and maintenance, park and cemetery maintenance, vehicle maintenance and other duties as assigned.
