01/13/2021: Due to the high demand for recycling, new hours have been added! Now open Tuesdays Noon to 6:00pm! Don't forget: due to the current shared location with Public Works, recycling operations will be suspended while snow plows are out. 01/06/2021: Hello fellow neighbors, Winter is coming, and snowmobile season is almost here! Bowdoinham is lucky to have an extensive trail system thanks to the many landowners in Bowdoinham, Bowdoin, and Richmond that have granted us access to over 40 miles of recreational snowmobile trails for use throughout the winter months. Not only do these trails allow us to travel throughout our community, but they are also interconnected with other trail systems that expand into many towns all over the state.
01/06/2021: Bowdoinham’s long-standing Recycling Program is an enormous source of pride for the Town, and an important way our community can contribute to reducing waste and living more sustainably.
01/05/2021: Ski and Skate rentals are now available through the Town Office! Come in and sign out ski and skate equipment today! We have sizes from youth to adult that are ready to be used on the snow and ice! Rentals are available during office hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8:30-4:00 and Wednesday 9:00-6:00. Come get your skis and skates today!

01/04/2021: Friends of Merrymeeting Bay’s (FOMB) first presentation of their 24th annual Winter Speaker Series, Seabrook Nuclear Plant: Winds of Change?, features Doug Bogen, Executive Director of the Seacoast Anti-Pollution League. This event, FOMB’s first ever virtual meeting presentation will be held via Zoom and is accessible via a hyperlink at the top of the FOMB web page at www.fomb.org . The event takes place Wednesday January 13th at 7 pm and is co-sponsored by Peace Action Maine.
01/03/2021: The Solid Waste Committee has been tasked with determining a Vision for the Future of Solid Waste & Recycling to include; what services the town wants; what is needed to offer these services; how can the services be offered; and the cost of the services.

12/28/2020: State Law requires all dogs six months and older to be licensed by January 1st, however there is a grace period to January 31st before a late fee is incurred. Neutered/Spayed Dog - $6.00 Not Neutered Dog - $11.00 After January 31st there is a $25.00 late fee.
