06/09/2020: Please join us along the parade route to celebrate the Class of 2020 Seniors who attended our Bowdoinham Community School as they are escorted through town by the Bowdoinham Fire Department.  Spectators are asked to practice social distancing and to be mindful to not block the view of those who may choose to spectate from their vehicles. Date: Friday, June 12, 2020 (rain date June 13th) Time: 5:00pm Parade loop: Bowdoinham village loop starting at the Bowdoinham Community School via Cemetery Rd., Center St., Main St., River Rd., Ridge Rd.  
06/09/2020: All the fiber is on the poles, splicing and drop wires are completed to many households, and LCI technicians are “lighting up” homes in Bowdoinham as quickly as they can. As of June 12 approximately 50 new Bowdoinham subscribers will be surfing the web, streaming video, participating in Zoom/Skype video conferences, and generally downloading and uploading to their hearts content on their 50 Mbps or 100 Mbps fiber optic internet connection.
06/04/2020: To the Select Board and Citizens of Bowdoinham:
06/04/2020: Effective June 4th trash tags will be required once again for curbside trash disposal. Trash tags can be purchased at the Bowdoinham Hardware store or by mail order through the town office and soon at the Recycle Barn. We are very close to opening the barn to the public with a modified schedule and policy keeping with CDC Covid19 guidelines. Stay safe and we will see you soon. Details coming soon. Barn Staff
06/03/2020:              Governors NEW Executive Order Reinstating Vehicle Registration Requirements  Note: 5/27/2020 Per Amended EO No. 53-A, this section of the Order is now in effect as revised.
05/27/2020: The Bowdoinham Select Board has approved waiving the interest and fees on late property tax payments (that were due in 2020), until April 30, 2020, as allowed by the Governor's executive order.
05/22/2020: As a society that is used to coming and going as we please, this pandemic has created many inconveniences. This is a novel virus with many unknowns and we must not take it lightly.  Restrictions are in place for everyone's health and safety and we must trust the Dr.'s and scientists that guide these decisions.   The town office has assured me that needed services can be accessed on-line.  Many regulations have been waived during this outbreak,  Town officials are also available by phone and email.
