√         Acknowledge donation of $500 from the parent of a middle school student to support Middle School Team Kennebec’s field trip fundraising, and in accordance with Board Policy KH, to accept said donation in the amount of $500

 

√         Acknowledge Brandy Robertson’s donation of seven copies (one to each District Learning Commons) of A Princess Heart by Janine Salevsky, and in accordance with Board Policy KH to accept the seven copies of  

A Princess Heart

 

√         Acknowledge receipt of a bequest from the estate of Hildegarde deVermandois Brewster Bird in the amount of $6,512.46 to Harpswell Community School, and in accordance with Board Policy KH, to accept this bequest in the amount of $6,512.46

5.1                   To consider the revision of previously-issued administrative contracts for MSAD No. 75 Principals and Assistant Principals

6.1                  To consider action to appoint professional staff, as follows:

 

6.1a                To consider action to appoint Mary Arndt to a position of one-year Kindergarten teacher at Woodside Elementary School, at Master’s, Step P,                                    for the 2023-24 academic year (prorated and retroactive to September 1, 2023)

 

6.1b                To consider action to appoint Brenda Beeckel to a position of one-year Kindergarten teacher at Williams-Cone School, at Master’s, Step S, for the 2023-24 academic year (prorated and retroactive to September 1, 2023)    

 

6.1c                 To consider action to appoint Amanda Johnson to an administrative contract to the position of MSAD No. 75 Food Services Director at an annual salary of $75,000 (prorated and retroactive to a start date of September 11, 2023)

 

6.1d                To consider action to appoint Linda Hildonen to a position of Special Education teacher at Mt. Ararat Middle School, at Bachelor’s+15, Step C (prorated to an effective start date of September 15, 2023) for the 2023-24 academic year

           

6.2                  Presentation by Chris Hoffman on the receipt of NEASC’s notification to Mt. Ararat High School following its recent Five-Year Progress Report submission

 

6.3                  To consider action to transfer $65,000 from Equipment Cap Software Facilities DW (1000-0000-2620-7350-0000-0000-900) to Equipment Capitalized Other Facilities DW (10000-0000-2620-7390-0000-0000-900)

 

6.4                  To consider action to approve the purchase of three (3) buses

 

6.5                  To consider a proposed job description of Mechanic’s Apprentice and a proposed change in the job description of Accountant to Bookkeeper/Accountant    

6.6                  To consider action to give direction to the MSAD No. 75 Delegates to the MSBA Delegate Assembly regarding the proposed 2023 MSBA resolutions and change to the Constitution and by-laws

 

6.7                  To consider action to create a standing Transportation Committee

 

6.8                  To consider action to appoint members to the Transportation Committee

 

6.9                  To discuss the structure and membership of the two Negotiations Committees
