Notice of Public Hearing - Municipal Officers' Order

The Select Board will hold a public hearing on September 27, 2022, at 6:30pm remotely via Zoom to hear public comments on the Municipal Officers order that the following question be placed on the ballot for a secret ballot referendum election to be held on November 8, 2022:

Shall the Town vote to convey Central Maine Power Company, an easement for an underground line to erect, bury, maintain, rebuild, respace, patrol, operate, and remove and do all other action involving electric and communication distribution equipment and facilities, consisting of wire and cables, together with all necessary fixtures and appurtenances under a portion of the surface of land in the property located at 8 River Road, Bowdoinham, Maine as shown as Lot 001 on Bowdoinham Tax Map U01 and more particularly described in a Deed from Central Chemical Corporation (New England) Inc. dated September 2, 1998, recorded September 15, 1998 in the Sagadahoc County Registry of Deeds in Book 1615, Page 321?

This public hearing will be via online video conferencing, due to Board availability.  This is in accordance with the Town’s Remote Meeting Policy which authorizes remote participation at municipal board meetings by board members and the public.
