10/21/2020: The Town of Bowdoinham will receive sealed bids marked “Higgins Replacement System” on the bid proposal form, at the Bowdoinham Town Office, 13 School Street, Bowdoinham Maine 04008 until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at which time bids will be opened and read. There will be a scheduled site visit on October 29, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. This is to ensure there is a full understanding of project.
10/20/2020: State and Municipal Annual Town Meeting Election November 3, 2020 Polls are open 8:00am – 8:00 pm
10/02/2020: The Town of Bowdoinham is seeking bids for a three – year period to have snow and ice removed from 5.12 miles of roadway in the Town of Bowdoinham. Services include plowing and the spreading of sand and or salt during the period November 1st to June 1st  of each year. Sealed bids marked “Winter Road Maintenance” on the form entitled “Winter Road Maintenance Proposal Bid Form”, must be received at the Bowdoinham Town Office, 13 School Street, Bowdoinham, Maine 04008 by 10:00 a.m.
10/02/2020: In-Person Absentee Voting will be available at the Town Office during regular business hours beginning Monday, October 5, 2020.  (M,T,Th: 8:30am-4pm / W: 9am-6pm) Requested Absentee Ballots will be mailed out beginning Monday, October 5, 2020.  Regular voting will be held at the Bowdoinham Community School on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, 8 AM - 8 PM.  All social distancing protocols for COVID will be observed. 
09/30/2020: The Town of Bowdoinham is accepting applications for an on call snow plow operator. The successful candidate must hold a valid Maine class B or C license. Also must be able to work long hours and be available during all winter storms. Applicant must submit to pre- employment drug and alcohol testing. Previous Plowing Experience preferred. Salary negotiable D.O.Q.   
09/29/2020: The Town of Bowdoinham is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of assistant town clerk/assistant tax collector at the Town Office.  This position is for approximately 30 hours per week and will be responsible for collecting taxes and fees as well as issuing license, permits and motor vehicle registrations as well as other office duties.  
Master Site Plan
09/25/2020: The Town’s is seeking proposals to further develop the Master Site Plan to permit level engineering drawings for the redevelopment of the former public works property.  The property is located on the Town’s riverfront and is underutilized given the area’s potential for recreation-based economic development.  The Town adopted a Master Site Plan for the re-development of the property in June 2019.  In 2020, the Town completed the design and permitting for a non-motorized b

Register to Vote
09/22/2020: Residents who need to register to vote or update their address are encouraged to take care of this task in September, if possible.  Due to anticipated crowds on election day,  it is recommended these services be taken care of well in advance.  Residents can go to the Town Office at 13 School Street on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday  8:30am – 4:00pm and Wednesday 9:00am – 6:00pm, to register to vote.  
09/15/2020: The Recycling Barn is closed to the public, however the Solid Waste Department will remain open for the collection of recyclable materials.  We will be utilizing "Silver Bullet," recycling dumpsters for the collection of the following items:
