04/04/2020: For the time being, the Town of Bowdoinham will be conducting public meetings via video conferencing. This is in accordance with emergency legislation (PL 2019, c. 617) enacted by the Maine legislature on March 17, 2020, which temporarily authorizes remote participation at municipal board and committee meetings by board members and the public. The Select Board has arranged for the public to safely view or listen to various municipal board meetings such as the Select Board, Finance Advisory Committee and Planning Board via Zoom. 04/01/2020: Update Regarding COVID-19 Impact on Trash and Recycling in Bowdoinham  
04/01/2020: All Bureau of Motor Vehicles Branch Offices Closed to the Public Effective Tuesday, March 17, all of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles' offices will be closed to the public until further notice, to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus in Maine.  All of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles' Mobile Unit visits are also suspended until further notice.  
04/01/2020: Attached is a slide deck of what is required because once you start it you cannot save, you must finish the entire application.  If the business has the sales and expense info for the previous 12 months, the entire app shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes.  Even if a business doesn't get or want the loan, one could still be eligible for the $10K grant portion (they call it forgivable).

03/25/2020: Good morning Bowdoinham , The Recycle Barn will remain closed for the foreseeable future. Please do NOT drop off materials in the yard while we are not open.  It creates a public health issue and is considered littering. Trash and recycling curbside pick up will continue as scheduled on Thursday mornings starting at 6am. Trash tags and recycle bags are available and can be purchased at the Bowdoinham hardware store.

The Town of Bowdoinham is accepting applications for an on call snow plow operator. The successful candidate must hold a valid Maine class B or C license. Also must be able to work long hours and be available during all winter storms. Applicant must submit to pre- employment drug and alcohol testing. Previous Plowing Experience preferred. Salary negotiable D.O.Q.   

The Town of Bowdoinham is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of assistant town clerk/assistant tax collector at the Town Office.  This position is for approximately 30 hours per week and will be responsible for collecting taxes and fees as well as issuing license, permits and motor vehicle registrations as well as other office duties.
