Pork Point Walking Trail

Welcome to Pork Point!

This portion of public land gives you stunning views of the bay from Pork Point. A simple trail leads from the gate on Pork Point Rd, to the tip of the point; allowing you to explore the woods and enjoy numerous sightings of wildflowers and wildlife. There are access points to the protected shores that allow you to watch boats go by on the bay and sit in the shade. Depending on the tide, the sand lends itself to sunbathing and the water to swimming. Much of the forest ground is naturally flat due to needle beds, and draining soil keeps the land from becoming too muddy making it easily traversable and accessible for the whole family.  Be sure to visit all of our town’s public lands for the true Bowdoinham experience!
