Welcome to Bowdoinham!

Town Services 

 

Town Office -  Stop by the Town Office to: register your vehicles, boats, and trailers; get your hunting and fishing license; get a birth certificate or marriage license; license your dog; pay your property taxes or water bill; get trash tags; or just say hi.  The Town Office is open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 8:30am to 4pm and Wednesday from 9am to 6pm at 13 School St.  Our phone number is 666-5531.

Trash Pick-up & Recycling Barn - The Town provides a trash pick-up service, along with the best recycling program in the State of Maine!  Trash and recycling pick-up is on Thursdays.  Trash tags are $2.50 each and can be purchased at the Town Office, Cote's Bowdoinham Hardware Store, and the Recycling Barn.  Recycling is picked-up for free, items just need to be separated in placed in a clear bag.  The Recycling Barn is open on Thursdays and Saturdays from 8am to 4pm for recycling drop-off, hazardous and bulky waste drop-off and the swap shop.  For more information about our solid waste and recycling programs, please visit our Solid Waste & Recycling web page, or give the Barn a call at 666-3228.  

Age-Friendly Bowdoinham - The Town of Bowdoinham is committed to providing services and advocacy that enable older residents of Bowdoinham to live in their homes for as long as possible as well as providing programs geared to keeping older adults active and engaged in the community.  For more information about these services, please visit our Age-Friendly Bowdoinham web page.
