Sealed bids, plainly marked “Surplus Property Bid" on the outside of the mailing envelope, addressed to Nicole Briand, Town Manager, 13 School Street, Bowdoinham, Maine 04008 will be accepted until 10am on Wednesday, August 17, 2022. A deposit of half the bid amount must be included with the bid form.
Bidders will receive notification of the bid results by 2pm on August 17, 2022 via email. Items will be awarded to the highest bidder. In the case multiple highest bids are received, the item will be awarded to the highest bid received first. The Town will return all checks for unsuccessful bids.
Final payment must be received for Friday, August 19, 2022 by 4pm. Items must be removed from Town property by noon on August 31, 2022. Items that are not removed will be offered to the next highest bidder.
All items are being sold “as is”, the Town is not responsible for any repairs. All sales are final. In submitting a complete written bid and payment, bidders agree to the terms and conditions of this Surplus Property Sale.
