5.1 To consider a first reading of a proposed revised school calendar for 2024-25 {with school to begin after Labor Day, to include use of April 18th as a student day, last day of school June 12, and no remote learning days}
6. NEW BUSINESS:
6.1 To hear a mid-year update on the School-Based Health Center from Amy Hamilton, Clinical Supervisor
6.1a To hear a Mental Health Committee report by Amy Hamilton and High School Principal Dr. Chris Hoffman on the effects of cell phones and social media on students

6.2 To consider action to appoint Amanda “Mandy” Powell to a one-year .3 FTE RTI teacher (for the remainder of this school year) at Harpswell Community School, at BA+15, Step C (prorated) with an anticipated start date of February 26, 2024
6.3 To consider a first reading of proposed revisions to Board Policy BEDH: Public Participation at Board meetings
6.4 In accordance with Board policy, to consider the approval of an out-of-State field trip on June 5, 2024, by Mt. Ararat Middle School seventh graders to Boston, MA
6.5 Pursuant to 1 MRSA 405 (6) (D) to enter executive session for the purpose of discussing negotiations between the Board of Directors and Merrymeeting Employees Association
6.6 Pursuant to 1 MRSA 405 (6) (F) to enter executive session for the purpose of discussing information contained in records made, maintained or received by a body or agency when access by the general public to those records is prohibited by statute
