Bowdoinham’s Age Friendly Committee actively seeks opportunities for bringing people together for social interaction, discovery, and sharing.

Weekly Events (Events are free of charge unless otherwise indicated)

Bridge:  

What:   Opportunity for bridge players to enjoy weekly game play

Who:   The group welcomes all players.  The current players range from high scoring duplicate players to seniors who played in college and newbies who have taken a class.

When:  Every Wednesday from 9:30am – noon

Where: Bowdoinham Fire Station, 57 Post Road, Bowdoinham

Cribbage:

What:   Fun and informal games of cribbage

Who:    Everyone; beginners welcomed

When:  Every Thursday from 9:30 am – noon

Line Dancing:

What:   Synchronized dancing to a variety of music

Who:    Open to all ages and abilities! First 30 minutes are usually devoted to beginners

When:  Every Tuesday from 5:30–7:30pm (Off January and February)

Where: Merrymeeting Hall, 27 Main Street, Bowdoinham

Yoga:

Luncheons (Donations welcomed)

What:  A homemade lunch generally followed by a speaker or activity

Who:   Anyone

When:  Second Thursday of each month

Field Trips
