11/27/2023 : Just a friendly reminder to register your family friend before the end of the year.   You will need to bring a current rabies certificate. A late fee of $25 will be added to the registration fee after January 31, 2024.

10/25/2023 : The Town of Bowdoinham is seeking bids for a contractor to address concerns with the Town Hall.  The Town is flexible in the actual approach used to address this issue and would look for input, in addition to the approaches outlined below.
10/25/2023 : The 2024 dog licenses are now available at the Town Office. Fees are $6.00 for a neutered/spayed dog and $11.00 for a “fully equipped” dog. Please license your dog(s) annually on or before January 1st. A $25 late fee will be charged after the January 31st.
10/06/2023 : The Town of Bowdoinham is currently seeking qualified applicants for the part-time position of Harbor Master. This job involves the administration and enforcement of Town policies related to the harbor, channels, and associated public lands and structures. 
09/19/2023 : The Town of Bowdoinham is currently seeking qualified applicants for an on-call snowplow operator. The successful candidate must hold a valid Maine CDL license and be able to work long hours and be available during all winter storms. Previous plowing experience preferred. Successful applicant must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.  Wages are negotiable based on qualifications.

09/05/2023 : The Town of Bowdoinham is currently seeking a qualified applicant for the full-time position of Public Works Driver/Operator.  This position is responsible for snow removal and sanding/salting operations, road, sidewalk and drainage construction and maintenance, park and cemetery maintenance, vehicle maintenance and other duties as assigned.  Preference will be given to applicants that hold a valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record.  The Town offers a competitive wage based on qualifications and experience and an excellent benefits package.  Successful applica
