10/03/2024 : Take part in designing the future Merrymeeting Trail. During the month of October, there will be a series of four Community Conversation meetings focused on the trail that will be held in each of the towns along the trail route. 10/01/2024 : The Maine Forest Service is notifying towns in the area that they will be performing a prescribed burn on Swan Island in the Kennebec River today. It is expected to begin at 11 A. M. and last until approx. 4 P. M.
