09/20/2023: The Town is seeking bids for a one-year period to have snow and ice removed from 6.32 miles of roadway in the Town of Bowdoinham. Services include plowing and the spreading of sand and/or salt during the period November 1st to May 1st. Sealed bids marked “Winter Road Maintenance” on the form entitled “Winter Road Maintenance Proposal Bid Form”, and must be received at the Bowdoinham Town Office, 13 School Street , Bowdoinham, Maine04008 by 10:00 a.m.
09/19/2023: The Town of Bowdoinham is currently seeking qualified applicants for an on-call snowplow operator. The successful candidate must hold a valid Maine CDL license and be able to work long hours and be available during all winter storms. Previous plowing experience preferred. Successful applicant must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.  Wages are negotiable based on qualifications.
