20th Annual Bowdoinham School Rummage Sale

Friday, April 29th, 5pm-7pm and Saturday. April 30th, 9am - 12noon

Town Hall, 13 School Street

 

Hello School Families,

The Rummage Sale is a well-loved community tradition that is supported by town residents in both the donation of items as well as the purchase of goods at the Sale.  Spring 2020 was technically supposed to be the official 20th year but since it was cancelled, we are calling this year's sale our second 20th year!  This fundraising event is hosted by the BHM Parent Partnership.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

1) Donate! - We need your gently‐used‐but‐still‐in‐good‐condition‐but‐no‐longer‐needed stuff to sell!  If it is still useable, we can probably sell it.  The sale is set up like a department store – we have sections for everything –baby gear, tools, toys, sports equipment, pet supplies, holiday, housewares, small furniture and appliances, books, DVDs and CDs, clothes, coats, accessories, jewelry, shoes, purses, craft items, etc.  Happy Spring Cleaning! 

Guidelines: Due to lack of resale value, we are unable to accept the following items:

A) Large Appliances - chest freezers, refrigerators, stoves, etc.

B) Bulky/Old Style TVs

C) Old Air Conditioners

D) Old bulky computer monitors

E) Old Textbooks or old Encyclopedias

F) Camp Furniture - "if you won't sit on it, we can't sell it" - stains, smells, pet fur, broken pieces, missing upholstery

G) Any small appliances that do not work, are too dirty, or have broken pieces

H) Something that really should go directly into the trash and is not able to be sold due to damage, stains, odors, etc.

Drop off Dates:

April 16: 10am - 1pm

April 18: 11 am - 3pm

April 20: 12pm - 2pm

April 22: 5pm - 7pm

April 23: 10am - 1pm

April 27: 9am - 10am

**All donations go to the Town Hall at 13 School St. and NOT at the school.**
