Farmer Community Conversation
Event Location
Merrymeeting Food Council (MFC), Bowdoinham Community Development Initiative (BCDI), and University of Maine Cooperative Extension will host a Farmer Community Conversation in January. BCDI hosted these meetings annually until 2019 and we are excited to work together to bring this gathering back! This meeting is an informal opportunity for members of the farming community to share successes, challenges, and identify opportunities for collaboration. We look forward to a conversation about how needs for land, investment, infrastructure, farm labor, distribution, and more have continued to shift during the pandemic.
