Local Working Group Meeting
 Seeks Resident Input to Identify
Natural Resource Concerns and Funding Priorities

Are you a landowner, woodland lot owner, or farmer? Are you interested in applying for NRCS funding next year to accomplish larger projects to help conserve your property and help the environment? Would you like to participate in deciding how this funding is distributed throughout Androscoggin and Sagadahoc Counties? We want your input.

Androscoggin Valley Soil and Water Conservation District will be hosting the annual USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service Local Working Group meeting on Wednesday October 26, 2022, from 9:30AM to 12:00PM.  This meeting is open to the public. Topics include discussion of the 2023 USDA NRCS programs and the prioritizing of funding for the Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP) for Androscoggin and Sagadahoc Counties. This is a great time to learn about new NRCS cost-share programs and connect with others in the community who are committed to protecting our natural resources. Snacks and drink will be provided.

Registration is requested but not required.
