08/22/2019:  A Race to the Finish...Or what to do with all those surplus Zucchinis! The growing season may have gotten off to a slow start this year, but by now there should be more zucchinis than anyone knows what to do with. The answer... Turn them into race cars and enter them in the 1st Annual Zucchini Races at Celebrate Bowdoinham!  
08/22/2019: Each year the Merrymeeting Arts Center hosts a show of art created by members of the greater Merrymeeting Bay community. The theme of each show centers around one of the sculptures in Bryce Muir’s Local Myths Collection. This year’s show is "The Heron".
08/22/2019: The theme for this years parade is.... The Wild Wild West to The Roaring 20's! 1880 to 1930’s  There will be prizes awarded to the best decorated and on theme float, group or vehicle.  To join the parade please contact Missy Halsey at the Town Office (207) 666 - 5531  The Parade line up starts at the fire station at 9am. 
08/22/2019: The Kennebec Estuary Land Trust (KELT) is excited to partner with the town of Bowdoinham to invite the public to the grand opening of Red Rose Preserve in Bowdoinham on Saturday, September 14th at 1:45pm. There will be horse draw wagon rides leaving from Cathance Meadows and returning from the Preserve from 12:30pm to 3:30pm. Attendees will join KELT staff and supporters for a guided tour of the property’s trails and learn the land’s conservation story. This is a free, family-friendly event. Red Rose Preserve will be KELT’s first public preserve in Bowdoinham.

The Town of Bowdoinham has an immediate opening for a Driver/Laborer position for the Public Works Department.  This is a full time 40 hour per week position that requires a valid Maine Commercial Driver’s License (Class B).
