12/04/2020: Victorian Christmas Open House and Memory Tree at the Bowdoinham Nazarene Church has been postponed from this Saturday (5th) to Sunday, December 6th, from 1-6pm (weather and electricity permitting). We will also be posting pictures on our FB page, in addition to giving people an opportunity to have someone's name added to Memory Tree without having to come in person. Our prayers for many Christmas blessings are with you!
12/03/2020: We are working diligently to temporarily resume recycling operations at the Public Works facility on Pond Road. Unfortunately, due to delays in permitting, we are still waiting for approval to open.
12/02/2020: The Town of Bowdoinham has contracted with RJD Appraisal for assessing services to update the Town’s property cards over a 4-year period, a quarter of the town will be completed each year.

11/25/2020: Effective November 1st: Recycling operations, including curbside pick-up are suspended, a trash tag is required for all curbside pick-up.     Recycling 
11/25/2020: The giving season is coming quickly and we have already started preparations here at the Town Office. There will be three different businesses hosting our giving tree: Three Robbers Pub, Bowdoinham Country Store and Cote’s Bowdoinham Hardware Store.

11/07/2020: Interested in making a difference? Like work that is active, multi-faceted and challenging?  The Town of Bowdoinham is currently seeking qualified applicants for the part-time position of Recreation Director and Older Adult Services Coordinator. 
11/03/2020: Merrymeeting Arts Center's Holiday Pop-Up 2020 is right around the corner and MAC is finalizing plans to open at the Town Hall on Saturday, Nov. 21st. The “store” will be open Thursdays to Sunday through December 20th. Last year over 30 vendors – artist, artisans and businesses – participated in this highly successful event. We know that Covid-19 limited opportunities for business this past summer and fall and we hope that creating an inviting and safe shopping experience will benefit shoppers and businesses alike.
