Ambulance Informational Meeting

Facility/Room
Kendall Room

Event Location

John C. Coombs Building, 13 School St, Bowdoinham

Ambulance Service is a pressing topic of concern in Maine. Like many rural towns Bowdoinham is facing its own challenges. We are diligently looking at options for our town and once we have more information and options, we will let the public know.

In the meantime, we thought it would be a good to have an informational meeting to educate the public on how an ambulance services operate.  We will be discussing what is involved in operating an ambulance service including staffing issues and cost involved, recouping revenue, billing, challenges the industry is facing, and what the State is doing. This meeting is purely educational and will not be addressing service here in Bowdoinham.

Thank you to our panelists for coming to Bowdoinham for this discussion: Chris McLaughlin, Topsham Fire Chief, Rick Sieberg, Gardiner Fire Chief, Amy McDonnell, Deputy Chief, Lisbon Emergency, Rick Petrie, North East Mobile Health Services Chief Operating Officer, Kevin McGinnis, President, Board Chair, Friends of EMS for Maine and Arthur Frizzle, Bowdoinham Fire Chief.

This meeting will be available to watch (live or recorded) at: https://townhallstreams.com/towns/bowdoinham_me.
