03/20/2020: Public will have remote access to Selectmen’s meeting due to safety concerns  
03/17/2020: Bowdoinham Public Library The library will not be open hours due to the Municipal Building being closed.  During this closure, the Library has placed a little Library outside.  One shelf of clean books to browse and borrow and one shelf of clean library books for folks who have specifically reserved them by email.  Please email bowdoinham@gmail.com with your titles or requests. Information issued through the Maine.gov Citizen Alert System is provided directly from authorized state government officials.
03/16/2020: As a result of the COVID-19 global pandemic, the Town of Bowdoinham is taking precautions to avoid the possible spread of the virus.  The Town will be complying with States guidelines and restrictions and be following the Towns Emergency Response and Pandemic Flu Plan.

03/02/2020: Believe it or not, it’s that time again to donate and shop the Rummage Sale! Thank you to all of those who have donated to make our rummage sale very successful yearly! We love the variety of items of that come but as a reminder we do not accept TVs, or large appliances. Our Sale will be Friday, April 24th from 5pm-7pm $1 entry fee (no early birds), Saturday, April 25th 9am-noon. Our donation times will be by appointment. All proceeds benefit the school’s field trips and additional learning opportunities throughout the year.
03/02/2020: The Bowdoinham Guild of Artisans invites everyone to come to their new show which is now on display at the Chocolate Church in Bath, Maine. Over 15 members are featuring select items from their collections. “We are excited to have this opportunity to show our creations at such a nice venue in Bath and are hoping that a wider audience will enjoy the excellent work from our artisans in Bowdoinham,” says Lynn Sternfels, Chair of the Guild.
03/02/2020: Spring is slowly approaching and with it comes time for clean-up. Limbs, leaves and debris from what was a relatively mild winter are being gathered and stacked for disposal. Many people choose to compost or chip the winter remnants while others opt for burning. If you are among the latter then here is a bit of background information and few reminders on the process.
