04/17/2023: The Select Board will hold a public hearing on April 25, 2023, at 6:30pm in the Kendall Meeting Room of the John C. Coombs Municipal Building at 13 School Street, Bowdoinham. To hear public comments on the proposed Town Meeting Warrant, including the: proposed FY23-24 Budget, proposed amendment to CMP/Riverfront TIF District Program, proposed amendments to the Land Use Ordinance.

03/15/2023: The Maine CDC has notified the Town Office of a reported case of Rabies in our town. The attached is information to help educate the community about rabies. What should you do if you or your pet were exposed? If you or your pet had contact with a wild animal or animal that you don’t know, follow the steps below to prevent rabies. 1. Wash the wound thoroughly with soap and water.

On-Call Snowplow Operator Wanted

The Town of Bowdoinham is currently seeking qualified applicants for an on-call snowplow operator. The successful candidate must hold a valid Maine CDL license and be able to work long hours and be available during all winter storms. Previous plowing experience preferred. Successful applicant must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing. Wages are negotiable based on qualifications.
