The Town is seeking part-time Harbor Master.

The Town of Bowdoinham is currently seeking qualified applicants for the part-time position of Harbor Master. This job involves the administration and enforcement of Town policies related to the harbor, channels, and associated public lands and structures. 

The Harbor Master is expected to carry out his/ her responsibilities with initiative, independence, and confidentiality while exercising good problem-solving skills and professional judgment.  The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; excellent record keeping ability; strong communication and interpersonal skills.  

Preference will be given to applicants that have their harbor master certification through the State of Maine; applicants must be able to obtain their certification within one year.
