5.1 To consider a second reading and adoption of proposed revisions to Board Policy JHB Truancy
6. NEW BUSINESS:
6.1 Invitation for Mt. Ararat High School Resource Officer Belle Matthieu and Lt. Bill Collins of the Topsham Police Department to make a presentation on the possibility of fundraising to start a Comfort Dog Program at the Topsham Police Department
6.2 To consider approval of a review of proposed amendments to JHB-R Truancy Procedures
6.3 To consider action to appoint Board members to committees
6.3a To consider action to appoint a Board member to the Steering Committee for Strategic Planning
6.3b To consider action to appoint a Board member to the School Belonging Committee
6.3c To consider action to appoint a Board member to the PEPG (Performance Evaluation and Professional Growth) Committee
6.4 To acknowledge receipt from the Merrymeeting Educators Association the notification of intent to negotiate a successor agreement

6.6 To consider action to give direction to the MSAD No. 75 Delegate (and alternate) to the MSBA Delegate Assembly regarding the proposed 2024 MSBA resolutions
6.7 To consider approval of a field trip request for Harpswell Community School Grades K-5 students to participate in the Water Safety Program during the 2024-25 academic year
6.8 To consider approval of a request for Harpswell Community School Grades K-5 students to participate in the Harpswell Heritage Land Trust programming during the 2024-25 academic year
6.9 To consider approval of an overnight (October 15-18, 2024) field trip request for Harpswell Community School 5th graders to travel to Chewonki in Wiscasset
6.10 Pursuant to 1 MRSA §405 (6) (D) to enter executive session for the purpose of discussing contract negotiations with the Merrymeeting Employees Association
