Bowdoinham Holiday Festival December 5–7, 2025

A weekend of art, music, and cheer—plus the long-awaited reopening of the 200-year-old Old Town Hall after its restoration.

Festivities begin Friday, December 5, with coffee, pastries, and community spirit at the Breaking Bread Café, benefiting the Bowdoinham Food Pantry. The evening continues with Santa’s arrival and tree lighting at 5:30 p.m. at the Fire Station, complete with carols and cheer, followed by the Bowdoinham Guild of Artisans’ opening celebration at 6 p.m. with live music and food. 

Throughout the weekend, stroll through our festive village to discover local art at the Merrymeeting Arts Center Holiday Art Fair, the Artistic Endeavors Studio Sale, and the Bowdoinham Guild of Artisans Holiday Sale—plus hands-on fun with a wreath-making workshop, cookie-decorating party, Victorian Christmas Open House, and the beloved Pony Parade!

Enjoy more merriment at the Makers Market at Dandelion Spring Farm starting at 11 am on November 29 and the Bowdoinham Community School Annual Craft Fair from 10 am - 3 pm on December 13.
