Open Farm & Studio Day Registration is Open!

We are excited to announce registration is open for this year’s Open Farm & Studio Day on Sunday, July 27th!

Last year we had 24 farms, artists, and community groups participate. Once again, the event includes a Bowdoinham Food Pantry benefit barbeque from 4-6 pm and live music by Rough Sawn, a primarily acoustic band playing folk, American, and classic country from 4-7pm. If you plan on joining, please complete this brief registration form by June 2nd so you can be included our promotions.

Coverage of the event will be included in the Cryer, Forecaster, Lincoln County News, and the Summer in Maine insert which will be distributed in ALL six of Maine's daily newspapers, (Lewiston Sun Journal, Brunswick Times Record, Portland Press Herald, Kennebec Journal, Waterville Sentinel & Bangor Daily News), reaching the entire state. There will also be copies in all seven of the Maine Tourism Information Centers along the I-95 corridor from Kittery to Houlton for free! Further, we are planning an abbreviated brochure to be included as an insert in the July/August newsletter.

We encourage artisans and farmers to pair up for the event, in which case we just need one submission per location. Please help us get the word out by sharing this solicitation widely!

Need more info on the event? Please see last year’s event guide attached or contact Yvette, Director of Planning & Development!

We look forward to continuing Bowdoinham’s tradition of celebrating the many farms and local artisans in town!
