The Planning Department is responsible for: coordinating and processing Planning Board applications, assisting the Town with planning for the future, and coordinating and implementing Town projects.  The Planning Department also staffs the Planning Board and Comprehensive Planning Committee.  

FRAUD NOTICE: We advise the public that we have heard that in other Maine towns fraudulent actors have attempted to pose as the town authorities Planning Boards" and are initiating contact with Planning Board applicants to request an immediate wire transfer for fees associated with the review of their application. At no time will our department ever ask for a wire transfer of any funds associated with the review of an application. Please direct any questions related to this to the Planning Department at [email protected].
