10/28/2021: The Town of Bowdoinham is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of part-time Assistant Town Clerk/Assistant Tax Collector at the Town Office.  This position is for approximately 30 hours per week and will be responsible for collecting taxes and fees, issuing licenses, permits and motor vehicle registrations as well as other office duties.  
10/27/2021: The deadline to request an absentee ballot without a reason for the November 2, 2021 Referendum Election is the close of business on Thursday, October 28, 2021.   After this deadline, voters may request an absentee ballot by completing and signing a Special Circumstances Application. (linked below)   On the Application the voter must indicate which of the four allowable reasons to request an absentee ballot after the deadline applies to them, as follows:
10/27/2021: State and Municipal Referendum /Annual Election November 2, 2021 Polls are open 8:00am – 8:00pm  Bowdoinham Community School, 23 Cemetery Road

10/12/2021: All States Construction is planning to start installing the base gravel on Carding Machine Road on or about October 18th. At the same time, they plan to start the box cuts and installation of the subbase gravel on Dingley Road, followed by the base gravel when they have completed Carding Machine Road. Once the base work is complete, the paving will be scheduled.
10/08/2021: Aceto and Sons Earthwork will be removing pavement and installing base pavement on Tuesday, October 12th. Then Lower Main Street will be closed on Thursday, October 14th for paving.  
10/01/2021: The Town of Bowdoinham is requesting proposals for up to three thousand (3,000) cubic yards of screened winter sand.  Proposals will be accepted by the Bowdoinham Town Manager until October 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. 
09/29/2021: The Voters of the Town of Bowdoinham are hereby notified to meet at the Bowdoinham Community School, 23 Cemetery Road on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 7:00 p.m., then and there to act on Articles 1 and 2 as set out below. 09/24/2021: The Town of Bowdoinham has contracted with RJD Appraisal for assessing services to update the Town’s property cards to be completed over a 4-year period. If your property is in the current assessing group, you should have received a letter from the Town.
09/22/2021: Public Works continues to work hard on getting Dingley Road ready for paving next month. Cross culverts are being worked on and the road is currently closed to thru traffic between address number 297 and the Pipeline. Work starts at 7am each day and continues until each section has been completed. They hope to move further down toward the Curtis Farm this Friday. We apologize for any inconveniences caused by the road closures. Please call the Town Office if you have any questions.
