08/30/2021: Municipal Election Nomination Papers Due Friday, September 3rd by 4pm!
08/19/2021: The Bowdoinham Community Development Initiative (BCDI) has launched a new website for linking farmland owners and aspiring farmers in the town of Bowdoinham. The website is part of a larger Farmland Inventory Project aiming to help map the availability of farmland in town (current use, use restrictions, etc.) and identify and support landowners interested in making their land available for farming.
08/17/2021: The Town has received a notice from MDOT that bridge work on the Brooklyn Bridge over the Cathance River will begin on 8/26/202. State Route 24 will be reduced to one lane of alternating traffic using temporary traffic lights for approximately 5 weeks. Vertical clearance will be reduced to 13'.6".
08/10/2021: Lucas Striping will be painting the center lines on Fisher Rd, Millay Rd, Center St, Browns Point, and Ridge Rd this afternoon. Please drive with care and mind the wet paint.
08/02/2021: REQUEST FOR QUOTATION The Town of Bowdoinham is conducting a competitive bid process for the Fire Station Paving project. The Town of Bowdoinham shall accept sealed bids at the following location until 10:00 a.m. on August 24, 2021. 07/08/2021: If you have previously participated in the Tax Club you should have received a form in the mail. If you are new to the program please print out and fill in the form below and turn in to the office by July 31st. Forms may also be picked up from the Town Office.
07/07/2021: Maine Department of Transportation (MDOT) has contracted to have the Brooklyn Bridge that crosses the Cathance River repainted. The work is expected to begin the first week of August and last 3-4 weeks. Traffic will be restricted to one lane with stoplights on either side. Boat traffic may also be semi-restricted due to painting platforms installed below the bridge. Please drive with care as the workers revitalize this Bowdoinham landmark! 06/16/2021: The Town of Bowdoinham is currently seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Town Clerk at the Town Office. The Town Clerk is responsible for issuing motor vehicle registrations, hunting & fishing licenses, dog licenses, boat, snowmobile, ATV registrations, collecting all town funds, preservation of Town records, as well as completing all necessary reporting.
