06/20/2023: The Town of Bowdoinham is seeking a highly qualified candidate (or company) to fill the position of Assessor’s Agent. This position is for approximately 16 hours per week and involves administrative work in the office and fieldwork. The Assessor is required to exercise considerable independent judgment in administering the assessment program within general policy guidelines and is subject to state laws and regulations, stated in (Title 36, M.R.S.A).
06/16/2023: The Select Board is looking to reinstate the Solid Waste Committee with the goal of updating the Solid Waste Ordinance which was last updated in 1994.  If you are interested in giving some of your time and serving on this committee, please email and application to the Town Clerk at townclerk@bowdoinham.com.  
06/16/2023: As many people in town have now heard there are several structural issues, some critical, that need to be addressed with our beloved Town Hall. The bond presented at the Town Meeting did not pass so in order to save this majestic historical building we need community members to step up and take action. The Town is looking for people who are interested in lending their talents and ideas to this preservation project to contact Nicole Briand, Town Manager at townmanager@bowdoinham.com.

05/08/2023: The farmers’ market season is upon us!  The Bowdoinham Farmers’ Market is happy to announce opening day on Saturday, June 10th.  We’ll be at the Mailly Waterfront Park every Saturday 8:30-12:00 until October 7th.  It’s a great excuse to enjoy Saturday mornings in the park with your neighbors.    Down at the park you’ll find fresh baked bread, crisp organic veggies, grass fed meat, milk and cheese, tasty snacks, beautiful flowers, seedlings and fresh fruit.  Other fun events gravitate t

The successful candidate must hold a valid Maine CDL license and be able to work long hours and be available during all winter storms. Previous plowing experience preferred.
