12/18/2025 : The Town of Bowdoinham invites you to a public meeting on Thursday, January 8, from 6–8pm at the Town Office (or via Zoom) to discuss the future of the Riverview House at Bowdoinham Riverfront Park.In October, the Town hired Acorn Engineering to assess the Riverview House and to develop conceptual designs for potential future uses. This work builds on the Town’s 2019 Master Site Plan and is guided by a stakeholder process to ensure community voices are central.At the meeting Acorn Engineering will present:

11/24/2025 : To discuss the bridge rehabilitation of Brooklyn Bridge (#5190) over Cathance River. Located 0.24 of a mile south of Route 125.MaineDOT invites and encourages you to attend an on-demand public meeting to provide information about the proposed project. This can be viewed at any time during the formal comment period and allows for online comments and questions that will be answered by MaineDOT staff. The formal comment period will last from November 24, 2025 through December 10, 2025.See the attached for more information.
11/19/2025 : Please read the helpful information here. Fires caused by lithium-ion batteries have been increasing. These rechargeable batteries are found in electric bikes, mopeds, and scooters. Damages or unstable batteries and improper charging, storage, or disposal can cause the batteries to overheat, leading to an explosive, aggressive fire that spreads rapidly, can reignite, and is challenging to extinguish. 
11/13/2025 : The Planning Boards regular November meeting has been rescheduled from November 27th to November 20th due to the holiday.   This meeting will be held online only via Zoom.
11/12/2025 : Tedford’s two shelters, which serve families and adults respectively, are the nearest resources of their kind for nearly all residents in Sagadahoc County, and their various programs have served residents of every Sagadahoc town in the past couple years. They would be grateful for the opportunity to show you their programs up close at the ribbon-cutting and open house Thurs., 11/20, 12-6pm. 
10/28/2025 : Autumn is upon us and the summer season has ended. The week of November 3, the Mailly Waterfront Park will be winterized and the docks removed for winter. The kayak racks and launch dock will be removed as well, and that waterfront area will be closed for the winter.  For anyone who has vessels stored on the kayak/canoe racks, please have them removed by Mon., November 3.
