02/25/2026 : Midcoast Council of Governments MCOG has asked us to share this information to our community.MCOG is conducting a Public Transportation Needs & Interest Survey to better understand: How people travel today.  Where people need to go. What would make public transportation a realistic option. Your input will help inform a regional transit feasibility study and guide future planning, funding, and service improvements.  The survey is open through March 6, 2026.
02/18/2026 :  Heavy Load Restrictions on Town Roads Effective February 19, 2026, the Town of Bowdoinham has placed seasonal weight limits on local roads to help prevent damage from heavy vehicles during the spring thaw. These restrictions will remain in place until May 1, 2026.For details on Maine’s posted road regulations, visit the Maine DOT website:https://www.maine.gov/mdot/postedroads/
02/17/2026 : The Town of Bowdoinham is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants interested in providing planning services to assist the Town with drafting our first Open Space Plan with robust community input. Further, the Town will get technical assistance from the Consultant to develop ordinance changes which support the findings of the Open Space Plan. More information is available in the RFP and addendums below.
